Cannabis and Migraine Pain
Plant cannabinoids have long been used to treat migraine headaches, and modern clinical and observational studies now support its efficacy in reducing both the frequency and severity of attacks, as well as alleviating associated symptoms such as nausea and pain. Evidence suggests that dysfunction of the endocannabinoid system may underlie the development of migraine headaches. By modulating and enhancing this system, plant-derived cannabinoids, like CBD, CBG, CBDA and others, can offer meaningful therapeutic benefits with a favorable safety profile.
